The Mountain Guide
The International Federation of Mountain Guides diploma is the highest qualification that exists in the mountain world, 25 countries are members of the association and each country has a programme of training and assessment that ensures only the highest calibre of applicant become mountain guides.
They are assessed in 4 mountain disciplines and their associated requirements in the UK and Alpine environments.
